Focal Length and Field of View presentation.

I have no idea what it is. I have no idea why. I cannot ever seem to think up things to say on the spot. I cannot write in the presentation format. This is shit. I am shit. Give me an essay, you'll be swamped with information about the topic of which was selected for me. Tell me to give a presentation and you'll find me sobbing to myself in a secluded area of my room (probably in my cupboard or something) with a laptop and paper & pen in hand. My skin will be sickly white from lack of sunlight during the past two weeks, my hands will be shrivelled sticks of skin that have barely enough energy to write the date, of which I have forgotten. How many days now, have I read through numerous sites, copied notes down, written them up on PowerPoint, only to delete and completely rearrange every little piece of information on these slides? I am convinced I will not speak for long enough, there must be more, a longer way to explain something, something that will not get lost in the limbo of confusion between written and spoken translations.....

  1. I agree with you. I'm not used to do presentations too. It scares the hell out of me. BUT... Judging by your last presentation, I guess you can nail anything. You'll be fine.

  2. Remember that, in the world of film and TV production, pitch sessions/presentations/production meetings are very common and so it is good to get into the practice of speaking to a group and presenting information/ideas etc.
