OK FOR REALSY BACK

I forgot I had to post blogs for my course XD. tbh, for the past month and a bit I've not really been the happiest Kimberley around. Research class is harder than I thought. Third year project got full of drama at some point. My grandfather dying at the exact same time that I was supposed to go on internship really kind of messed things up, too. I'm truly sorry to Miriam and all them peeps. It sounds like it was a blast,  but I just couldn't think straight at the time and just wanted to be with my family.

Anyhoo.

What's been happening since you all last read my blog? Well then let me tell you, up until such a point where my thumbs start hurting,  as I am typing on the app instead of the browser this time (apologies for any typos by the way, I hate this keyboard) .....what papers do I take again??? Oh yeah.

Photography. We've been sorting out our end of semester project. At some point we gave a presentation to the class about what we are going to do. It was all very interesting to hear what my classmates are planning to do. Eventually we will be making photo books (I think) that will go on display (I think). Each one is our own with our own photos. My idea for my project is capturing the lostness and loneliness of toys and other childhood objects, that once belonged to children that have now grown up. All these things have a story, and still have a life, just because they're old and worn doesn't mean that they're gone. They're going to be around forever, locked away in some long forgotten memory, and some long forgotten place.

Research. Research. HAHAHAHA. Help.
Okay so like this is an insane paper. I'm not gonna truly understand this one until I finish it, I think. I have to make a thingy about the pacing in children's television,  that is my chosen topic. But GODDDDD so much reading >_< I'm reorganising my life so now this paper is my main priority this semester and  not the 3rd year project paper anymore. Otherwise I'll never do it. After waking up from unhappy Kimberley land last week I've gotten back on track and actually started to collect more data and have set out plans and schedules and everything for it. I has motivation where there was none before, yay.

Media Culture is semi fun. Some interesting things to be discussed in those classes. We all made stuff a while ago, by remixing different ideas into a thing,  if that makes sense.. like,  the musos made songs by taking real life songs and changed the genre if it to make it different.  Us filmies did a similar thing where we took a scene from a film and changed the genre to make it different. My idea was to take the shopkeep scene from Frozen and turn it into a soap opera, a western, and a horror.  That was ridiculously fun.

I'm yawning,  and I need zzz's. I think I covered the jist of what's gone on anyway. Peace out home skillet biscuits.
