I hate budgets. I hate theeemmmm. I add up all the numbers but they always, always end up being wrong! Gah! Rah! Throwing Mac screens around! I hate maths!!! I took up 4 pages in my book, scribbling down random bits and bobs for it!
All I did for course today was write up the budget. The end.
But I'm a Happy Kimberley tonight, mostly because money came through and I got dessert pizza :3
Tuesday
I came into the maclab to find it PACKED!
Also The handbook is confusing because classmates tell me that such and such is expected in certain ways that are not outlined in the book. WHHHHHAAAAAAAAT TT_TT
I AM VERY CONFUSED RIGHT NOW
Scenechronize. I haven't used this software since last year. I wasn't that fond of it at the time, but I did find it helpful. I apparently have to use it again. Joy.
Wednesday
In Photography today we took a bunch of different types of lenses to different places and took some photos... I had a wide angle 18 - 35mm on a Nikon D90. I'm far more used to macro, so it was interesting working with it to see what I could come up with. I think I came up with some neat pics anyway. I went to the train station and trespassed on the side that nobody is supposed to go on. Hah hah, I'm such a rebel.
Crossing the line. Cuz like, I do that a lot.
One of my fave pics I took. I like the framing in it.
This is actually a teaser pic for my end of year photography project.
As mentioned in an earlier blog, I'm playing around with refraction and reflection to capture individual perceptions of places. We all see places, but what makes places different for each and every one of us, is how we see them for ourselves.
I made this photo by sticking my glasses in front of the lens, and trusting to god that it was focused, because I sure as hell couldn't see anything sharp without my precious spectacles. Haha, it worked!!
Also more prepro for trailer happened.
Thursday
More Prepro stuff, mainly just going over things and making sure they work. Reassured Aman at some point that Patrick is going to believe his storyboards are his own.
I forgot how to print stuff, and that I need to remove the bottle top first, before putting water in the bottle.
I need to sleep, BUT, less than 24 hours until hand in SOOOOOO yeah. I fell asleep on the couch in the lounge, until Chris and Vincent came along and woke me up with their voices.
A recurring thought that appears with everyone, why is every assignment worth 10% this semester? It's a bit of a bother, really... A lot of us don't really like how hard we're working, when our film is only 10%. Dear Patrick, perhaps make a paper separate from the combined project. Thanks, Kimberley.
Friday
WE ALL TURNED UP IN THE MORNING AND WORKED ON OUR ASSIGNMENT. THERE WERE PROBLEMS WITH A FEW ASSIGNMENTS, ACROBAT CRASHED FOR IRIS, AND I WENT FOR A RUN TO THE SCANNER TO SCAN IN LEE'S STORYBOARDS
NOW, WE COMMENCE ON OUR FILMS.
Saturday
You know, I came into campus this morning to do some photography journal work, got reminded that Lego Movie exists, and then went on a huge mind wandering journey about totalitarian themes in the film, ahahaa this is what my brain used to do, before dark clouds decided to move in. I ended up writing half an essay about it XD I love writing essays.

Thanks, Kimberley. Yes, next year the combined project will be its own separate paper.
